Yoga!
Welcome to yoga. Students start the day by writing in their gratitude journal. Students have been working hard to learn the basic skills of asanas (poses). Grades 7, 8 and 9 are learning a set Hatha yoga sequence. Students are becoming familiar with props such as straps, bolsters and blocks. Students are learning about mindfulness and have experienced guided meditations for many topics including stress relief, positive thinking and anxiety.
