6 ways to stop stressing over the things we cannot control
1. Determine what you can control- all you can control is your effort and attitude
2. Identify your fears- what is the worst thing that can happen?
3. Concentrate on your influence - you cannot force things to go your way but you can control your behavior
4. Differentiate between ruminating and problem solving- replaying yesterday's conversations are not helpful. Seek solutions to your problems.
5. Create a stress management plan- exercising, eating healthy, yoga, leisure activities and plenty of sleep are some ideas
6. Develop healthy affirmations- you can control how you think, feel and behave. Remind yourself that you can do it
